Do you kids always want to sleep with something...sometimes odd things?

Do you let them? For example, my daughter found a Chucky Cheese token on the ground today and wanted to sleep with it. Usually it is some form of toy, though. What age do they grow out of this? My son sleeps with his plastic Phillipe screw driver every time.Do you kids always want to sleep with something...sometimes odd things?
I changed my sons sheets today and I found an Etchasketch, a toilet roll tube, an old nesquick box with a rock in side, some football trading cards and for some reason 拢4 in coins celetaped to the outside. Why would you need to take this to bed with you?Do you kids always want to sleep with something...sometimes odd things?
Yes. Every night we let her choose 2 toys, dolls or animals to sleep with. Every night for the last month the first one she says is the clown. It's meant to be hung from the ceiling, so it has little ropes and it's not safe. She knows she can't ever sleep with it. She's slept with a teapot and her pet rock, Rockie.
There was only 3 cookies left in the cookie jar and my oldest daughter ate 2 and now my younger daughter wants the last one but I said in the morning because it was getting late and she said she wanted to sleep with the cookie jar so the cookie won't be lonely overnight! when my two oldest were 6 %26amp; 7 ( they're a year apart-- now 13 %26amp; 14) they each had their own little teddy bear (that their grandfather who we were very close with) gave to them, now they don't sleep with it, but it sits on their dressers in honor of him. i find that this is normal-- it provides some type of comfort that may seem unusual to us, but nice to them.
Yes. Every night before bed, my daughter makes her round of the place and grabs an armful of stuff she is bringing to bed with her that night.

Usually, she grabs a whole bunch of toys. But there have been a few nights that she has slept with a wooden spoon and measuring cups LOLDo you kids always want to sleep with something...sometimes odd things?
Angela always wants to take books to bed with her. Not that strange, I guess, but it's cute. Her favorite is "The Mitten." She repeats the story before I even get a chance to turn the pages, we've read it so much. LOL.
My son loves to sleep With his toy cars. They are his loveys. He has been like that since he was about 18 months. He is 3 now. It is cute.
Fake golf clubs. Perhaps my kiddo is hitting the links in her dreams.
