what are you kidding me. chuck e cheese's is the best place for a 1st birthday. any birthday. stressless for you. the child doesnt care. all your child will care about is the cake and ballons. the party is primarily for pictures later in life ie memories. go ahead and settle for chuck e cheeses -- where a kid can be a kid.1 year old Birthday party location?
Have it at home. It's cheap. Besides a first birthday is not going to be remembered by your child. If home is not an option then maybe a McDonalds PlayPlace or something like that.
