My daughter is almost 8 months and loves Chuck E.'s toddler zone. But, you could take her to a bounceland (we have one here on the southwest side of Michigan).

I have a two year old and for his first B-day we did something small at home but he loves a place called bounce and Play! I don't know if you have one of those around you but it is so cool and my son loves it!! It is a place where they have about 10 moon bounces that do different things like mazes, air planes, slides, etc. that you play on! ( Adults can play too) It is perfect for 1 years old and up! Especially for a B-day party!
I'm not very sure if there are places like this in Michigan, but if there are any party places that have lots of toys, safe areas for your toddler and lots of people who watch the children then that would be the place!Where to take a 1 year old for their birthday party?!?
