What would you do for your son's 4th birthday?

This weekend my son is turning "4", and well we need some ideas for what we should do for him. We were thinking of taking him to the zoo and to chucky cheese but I don't know if that's going to be good enough plans for his birthday.

What would you do?

;o}What would you do for your son's 4th birthday?
That is actually what i was going to tell you to do lol!

We did that for my little brothers b-day!

Maybe towards the end of the day take him out for icecream or something. =]

Oh and a Happy Birthday to him!!!!

4 is a fun age lol! ^-^What would you do for your son's 4th birthday?
I'm sure those plans would be great! I don't know what 4 year old wouldn't like that! I'm sure as long as he's surrounded with friends and family members he'll be happy :)

Here are some other ideas in case you were looking for some: throwing him a pool party or a theme party (for example, if he likes batman, buy a batman cake, plates, cups, games, etc); you could take him to a theme park (although he'd probably enjoy chuck e cheese more at such a young age); or you could rent out some tables a buffet place for dinner (for example, here in FL we have a pizza buffet called Cici's pizza where kids can play games as well as eat)

I still like your ideas best though :)
Ha! I was in that same dilemma in May, but my son turned 5yrs, what we eventually did was on his b-day which was on a Thursday we took him out to dinner and a movie, to watch his favorite movie, then we gave him all his favorite presents things he kept hinting to us that he wanted, then on the weekend, Saturday to be exact, we kept a huge b-day/barbecue for him we invited all his friends from school and church plus all mine and my husband's family members and we threw a huge b-day/barbecue/pool party, seeing that that day was so hot we all ended up in the pool, there was a kiddie's pool too so the kids played in the kiddie's pool, and the grownups hanged in adult pool.It was alot of fun for him, he enjoyed the party and all the presents he got too.It was his 5th b-day so my hubby and i wanted to celebrate it big with him, usually we'll do the chuck e cheese thing, or simple party, but this year we really wanted to celebrate it big with him, so why not try something like a party for him, or if it's too last minute for you guys, then take him out to a movie and dinner to his favorite place that he likes, anything that he likes will always be good for him.GL.What would you do for your son's 4th birthday?
You can make a theme for his birthday party. Find out what he likes and use it as a theme for his party at Chicky cheese.

Or give little treat bags to the the little guests at his birthday party as a thank you for coming.

Here is a star.
Well, I've got daughters and a grandson...

Birthdays we pack up a picnic and head down to the beach... except for the eldest girl's 18th birthday, which required a major debute party by local culture (cost was a mere $400).

IF I am blessed with a son, He and I will go on his first big-boy camping trip to the beach... the daughters loved it on THEIR 4th birthdays. What would you do for your son's 4th birthday?
Its your sons SPECIAL day , so plan to make it just that.! Don't get conned by the "fast food thing" to impress your child . Think healthy, the thing you as parent, no doubt desperately want for your child to seek and achieve through life. Sending the right messages and examples to children helps get the best results for the future !!
That's a good Birthday; Chucky Cheese and Zoo, and a cake, of course....!!
I think the zoo and chucky cheese, is enough

if i was a 4 year old boy, i would love that
My brother went to Chuck E. Cheese's for his fourth birthday (which was an eternity ago).
